The West Central Research and Outreach Center at the University of Minnesota-Morris is celebrating its centennial. The center is marking its 100th anniversary Friday with morning tours featuring research in field crops, livestock and renewable energy. An afternoon symposium on the role of the center in west-central Minnesota features retired scientists. Speakers will also debate alternatives for agricultural sustainability in the next 100 years. An alumni reunion is set for Saturday and Sunday.
